Abejas, next door to Azuma off of Kirby, is a boutique with New York style and New York prices.. If mod and rustic had a baby, it would be this store. The smells draw you in with lavish feminine scents from diffusers placed all around. The clothes are organized by color so all black, brown, or white articles can be found on the same rack. If only Abejas could come to our closet and make some sense of our wardrobe (what's wrong with having an unusually large fuschia section?).

After picking out a few pairs of J Brand jeans, step into the fitting room and - surprise! - you'll find a display case of jewelry right in your dressing room. This is either the most convenient and shopper-friendly set-up ever, or a genius ploy to get us to spend more money on matching earrings.

Abejas offers a variety of brands like Velvet, James Perse and Havaianas. While perusing around this fabulous space, you'll also find lotions and soaps oh my! They carry the latest fall trends in knit tops, colorful scarves and distressed handbags. If you're feeling guilty about ringing up the charge card, grab some cute duds for your lil tots so they don't feel left out. This boutique is like a good shoe, stylish and comfortable. A bejas provides a great excuse to branch out from the Galleria and do a little bit of Soho shopping in Houston.
