As much as we hate to say it, if you want to catch 600 sq mi: Photos from Houston, you'd better do it fast: The show closes on Sunday. If you've already seen the show and want to enjoy it one last time, plan to swing by M2 Gallery in the Heights before Sunday afternoon; if you haven't seen the show yet, make it a point to go — it's absolutely incredible. (And if you haven't seen it, we won't let you come to the next Houstonist happy hour. You've been warned.)
In case you've been under a rock — or just moved to Houston — here's the skinny on the show: It's a collection of around 55 photos taken in and around Houston, by a mix of photographers who are pros and who are at the beginning of their careers. The images show Houston's beauty and diversity (if you've just moved here, yes, we do have beauty, thanks) in a number of different ways: architecture, nature, people, landscapes, art and more. If you're as much a fan of Houston as we are, or if you just love great photography, be sure to check out 600 sq mi (and remember, all the photos are for sale, so if you see one you can't live without, you don't have to live without!).
Many thanks, again, to the amazing artists who participated in the show and to everyone who helped us make it a reality. Needless to say, there would be no show if it weren't for y'all.
