::Danielle Reich Trio at King Biscuit::
We saw this and we couldn't remember the last time we stopped by Height's area neighborhood pub & grub, King Biscuit. So we decided to swing back by tonight to see jazz artist, Danielle Reich. It's been too long. They probably miss us. Right? Riiiiiight.
A regular at The Black Swan in the Omni Hotel, Danielle plays weekly with a trio at King Biscuit in The Heights. A veteran and performer in productions at The University of Florida and Stetson University, in Houston venues, Danielle has performed new works by Julliard-trained Carol Morgan, Joe Locascio's original music, and has sung with the Houston Grand Opera Chorus. She has performed in Houston and New York with experimental composer/bassist Thomas Helton, who has been recognized by the Houston Arts Alliance with a grant for his experimental music. Together, they have led Houston musicians to explore new forms of music and digital recording at Third Coast Noise.
Danielle's work as a psychologist and digital engineer has been recognized by The National Learning Laboratory where she is Director of Development and has been responsible for managing the translation of patents and prototypes into global products.

Missed Connections: Gefilte Fish...and "Chain Connections"

Did you know that when you turn out part of the Christmas light around the City of Niceville shrubs it yields City of evil? Nice.
I went to NHS for a day. It was awesome.
We're so tickled to stumble on this. Houstonist, we DO miss you. Jason, yes, I do know. (Nice folks, nice town, have a nice time. ...I was there for more than a day.) - D
