Something about the end of a tough week that makes keen on the idea of watching undulating bodies float across a stage in a modern interpretation of this classic story. Ahhh, we are getting all warm and fuzzy inside just thinking about it.
That could be also be the tequila shot soaking in. Hey, it's Friday.

After the success of his "Romeo & Juliet," Dominic Walsh will once again take on the retelling of a classic tale. Set to the original score composed by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Walsh´s adaptation of "The Sleeping Beauty" will be thoroughly contemporary with haute couture-inspired costumes designed by Travis Halsey and unique sets that will suggest an urban environment. Through Walsh´s unique choreographic style and his creative approach to discovering ultimate theater, this fairy tale will come crashing into the 21st century.

Performaces run tonight and tomorow night at the Hobby Center.
