AIA Home Tour

This weekend (Oct. 27 and 28) stop ogling your neighbor’s house from afar -- get in there and indulge your high design fantasies (legally of course). For one weekend every year the AIA allows even the unlikely likes of you a first-hand experience in top-notch architecture. We won’t even mention what it would actually cost to own these gems, but at $25.00 a ticket the fantasy seems like a pretty good deal.

This year’s tour features:

MC2 Architects

Williams/Hottinger House
239 Reinicke

MDGi

2001 Quenby

Intexure Architects

Ramchandani House
2019 Drexel

HarrisonKornberg Architects

Day-Helland House
3635 Overbrook Lane

Glassman Shoemake Maldonado Architects

2526 Bellmeade

Allen Bianchi Architects

Taft Street House and Studio

Robertson Design

Main Street House
5750 Main Street

Framework Design

Stokes House
1921 Bolsover

m + a architecture studio

2616 Amherst

Tickets can be purchased at any of the houses. $25.00 gets you as many homes on the tour as you like or have time for. See one or see them all – it’s still $25.00. The homes are open from noon to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday. The tour is conducted at your own pace and can be completed over the two day period. Questions should be directed to the AIA Houston, at 713.520.0155 and the AIA: Houston Home Tour website .
