For about 40 years, Houstonians have known where buy the best pies. Founded in 1967 The Flying Saucer Pie Company has been baking up a wide variety of pies daily, using the freshest available ingredients. Other than HoustonistMama, who is getting tired of baking for us, these are the bestest pies ever. We are partial to their line of cream pies! Whether you are ordering your meal pre-cooked, or popping your turkey or turducken in the oven at 5:30 a.m., you really need to think about gracing your holiday table with a tasty treat from them.
Here's the 4-1-1 on the 3.14 (yep, we've ingested more than our normal coffee allotment today), in case you was wondering how, precisely to lay hand on one of these babies. First, The Flying Saucer does not accept orders for the holidays, so queue up early for the best selection. Second, they are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. next Monday through Wednesday. Lastly, they are only gonna bake a limited amount of pies every day (read: never frozen, no preservatives), so get there pronto to make sure you get a pie, much less the one you want. Here are the directions.

Yes, we are aware of the "House of Pies", and we mean them no pie-disrespect, we'll give you the 4-1-1 on that 3.14 another day.
