Indra Vishnampet who was recently named "Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur of the Year" by The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce Greater Houston sat down with Purva Patel of The Houston Chronicle and answered a few questions about her local multi-million dollar software integration business which has offices in Houston, Canada and India.
Missouri City Not Experiencing "Comcastic" Service
Hats off to a group of Missouri City residents who are not happy with their new "comcastic" service from Comcast Cable. Residents of Missouri City filed their complaints with Missouri City officials at city hall. Their grievances ranged from faded to no signals, rate hikes and many others. Comcast has heard their complaints and says they won't lower their rates but they do promise better service. Promises, promises.
Optical Entertainment Network Goes Belly Up
Optical Entertainment Network has pulled the plug on cable, internet and telephone services it offered to four area subdivisions in NW Houston. The real challenge for these residents will now be having to scramble for service and having to deal with the likes of Comcast and AT&T. Welcome to our world.
