::Steel Lounge Underground at the CAMH::

Did you miss the HIWI party last night at Lawndale? (Apparently some of us probably should have, given we mistook it for a drinking contest.) Well loyal readers, you are in luck. Two great things rolled into one awesome basement tonight: the Houston: It's Worth It folks will be hosting the final Steel Lounge of the year at the CAMH.
In almost a deja vu of last night, DJ Pooks and Witness will be spinning, and the book will be for sale. We checked it out last night, and it's fabulous. And a neato, coffee table size. We didn't realize how many of our amazing Houstonist Flickr Photogs have their work in the book.Yep, we sure know how to pick 'em! Some really stunning images of this fair city. We welled up a bit. (Wait, maybe that when Wit told us he's moving to Brooklyn.)
Thirty percent of tonight's profits from the book will go to the CAMH. And we think that's another reason why Houston IS worth it.
