::Dame Julie Andrews to speak at Hobby Center::

Yeppers, Marry Poppins herself makes an arrival at the Hobby Center tonight, as part of the Brilliant Lecture Series.
The voice, the music the memories.... The Brilliant Lecture Series presents A Conversation… with Golden Globe, Emmy and Academy Award winner, Dame Julie Andrews. Join us for a rare and candid conversation with the legend.
Andrews has rebuilt her career with a variety of non-singing roles, and as a stage director. Most recently, she has appeared in The Princess Diaries and its sequel, and provided Queen Lillian's voice for Shrek 2.
Under her legal name, Julie Edwards, she has also written children's books, including The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles and Mandy.
VIP patrons are invited to attend a reception at 6pm with Dame Julie and will receive an autographed copy of her bestselling book, Thanks to You: Wisdom from Mother & Child, and front orchestra seating. Groups of 10 or more, students and seniors who present valid identification will receive a 10% discount.
