That's all I am thinking, too--just see what you can get for him. If it's not enough, then Just Say No. Also, I agree with you that it makes sense to keep running Sage out there until Matt is 100%. Why risk it when you can protect him, stay competitive, and increase Rosey's value? The idea of Run DMc in Battle Red makes me giddy. Though I'd be almost as happy drafting Felix Jones or Kevin Smith or J. Stewart.

I'd be interested in seeing if some team would be willing to swap us for the same kind of package we gave up to get Schaub (i.e. high draft picks). Take into account that any team in need of a QB like Sage probably has high picks...

Hmm, I'm not totally keen on trading away what has become the best backup QB in the NFL, but I wouldn't mind landing a decent (read:sturdy) running back or two. It's worth floating the idea around to see what may be available.
