Houston Sports Blog Roundup 12/26 Edition

Yes, we know that this column usually runs on Mondays. But on Monday, we were dodging the crowds in search of a couple of final presents, and were still reeling from the woodshed 1226007-lawnsanta.jpg
beating the Texans received at the hands of the Colts. We saw beleaguered soccer moms parking their Suburbans at the mall with better timing and depth perception than some of Sage Rosenfels' passes on Sunday. Anyway, on to the links:

- Chuck Hayes probably shouldn't shoot free throws. Ever. And here's the video to prove it.

- What did Santa bring you? It probably wasn't the Dynamo championship trophies. That honor went to the Thomas family in West U. They should've donated them to a family of Revolution fans, since they'll never know what a championship is like as long as The Orange are around.

- The Astros announced their Spring Training schedule this week. Anyone up for a road trip to Florida?

- DGDB&D isn't very happy with Travis Johson's bone-headed play against the Colts. Warning: contains language unsuitable for women, children, sailors, long-haul truckers, drill instructors, Insane Clown Posse fans, and most other human beings. Just kidding: ICP fans aren't human.

- Roger Clemens attorney, Rusty Hardin (motto: "If you've hired me, you're probably A) guilty and B) rich.") is going to conduct his own version of the Mitchell Report. Seriously. We're waiting for 300 pages of, "oh yeah, well so-and-so stuck a needle in his ass, too!" nonsense.

- We have to close with one last bit of Christmas cheer, courtesy of your Houston Rockets. At least this is better than Shaq's rap career:
