Recent Katy Freeway closures are sure to cause a few headaches. As of 10 p.m., Friday night, the Katy Freeway eastbound ramp to Beltway 8 northbound will be closed until April 2008. The westbound ramp to Beltway 8 northbound will be closed until August 2008.

Three Houston area residents have filed a lawsuit against Microsoft for breach of contract because they have been unable to connect to XBOX Live. XBOX Live is a subscription based service that allows XBOX gamers to play online.

Rice University is offering a $10,000 reward, in addition to the $5000 Crime Stoppers reward, for information leading to the whereabouts of Rice student Matthew Wilson who has been missing since December 14th.

37 year old Houston rapper, Eric Woods aka O.G. Style, passed away Thursday night after he suffered a brain hemorrhage and slipped into a coma. Another Houston rapper, Michael Francis, died Friday night after shooting himself in the head while playing with a gun.

The Houston Rockets beat the Orlando Magic Friday night, 96-94, in Orlando after Rafer Alston scored the final bucket with less than 5 seconds in the game. Orlando attempted to tie the game but failed to get their shot off in time as the buzzer sounded to end the game. Five Rockets scored in double digits including, Yao Ming (26), Rafer Alston (20), Luther Head (12), Bonzi Wells (12) and Luis Scola (10). The Rockets next game is tonight against the Knicks at 7:30 p.m. in the Toyota Center.
