From local Houston headlines, we bring you these weekend news bits...

• The Chevron Houston Marathon is in full swing this morning. Watch out for street closures along the marathon
route.

• The identity of the Westfield High School senior that was killed during a fight at northwest area park has been released. The victim was Kenneth Wayne Caraway Jr. and he was seventeen years old.

• A 60 year old, off duty, constable's deputy died Saturday in a motorcycle accident while he was on his way to assist in a funeral procession. The deputy was killed in southeast Houston near Cullen and Yellowstone.

• Sweeeet! 450 pounds of honey as well as a whole bunch of bees were removed from a northwest Harris County home on Waverly Grove yesterday. Not so sweet, the day before on Friday, the SPCA came out to the same house to remove 8 cats and several carcases that were in the squalid house.
