::KTRU DJ Night at the Proletariat::
Yes, folks the rumors are true. The Proletariat will officially be closing it's doors on Feb 3rd, 2008. We've had a few weeks to stomach the news, but still get a little misty-eyed when we think about those damn red walls being knocked down.
Leading up to the closing, the Pro is hitting it hard, with some killer events scheduled to bring the prolific Houston dive down with a bang.
Tonight's KRTU DJ Night, Rice Radio and the Proletariat will be co-hosting a back to school DJ night full of "fun, excitement, and hopefully dancing." Support your friends and fellow ktru djs;
come out and bring all of your KTRU and non-KTRU friends. Well, that covers just about all of our friends.
FYI, KTRU is looking for DJs. Do YOU have what it takes? Check it. Before you wreck it.
