Local Independent Technology Blogging
Our favorite local dunderpate, Mike McGuff, is back in the swing of things with a great new tech post on his blog where he covers some iTunes and Facebook stuff as well as other topics. Grand Stream Dreams has an awesome Linkfest as well as a support post, Logitech mouse problems, security news and some software offerings. jkOnTheRun reviews the Kindle e-book reader, gets Google Calendar to get events from multiple email accounts and makes his first trip to the Apple Genius Bar.
Local Professional Technology Blogging...errr... News From The Chron
Local professional technology bloggers at the Chron have come up with these stories for the week. Dwight Silverman covers Apples new offerings and tells us why he thinks the wait for Windows 7 won't be too long. Meanwhile James Kendrick snuck in Dwight's Tech Blog to post on CES 2008. Dr. Mac extolls the virtues of RSS. Jay Lee's Help Line blog tackles the annoying automatic additions to the Outlook Express address book and answers the age old question; deleted files, are they really gone?
It Came From Other -ist Sites
Sadly, The Tech Buzz has been overlooking other -ist sites that have some sort of regular tech feature or post frequently about technology and the internet. So, in order to be a better fellow -ist site, we vow to bring these stories to you too!
Over at Phyllist The Whiz of the Web pumps out five great posts a week. Seattlest went to MacWorld while SFist devoted two posts to the event.
If you have a Houston Tech Blog or something Houston related that you would like to see in the Tech Buzz, drop us an email or leave us a comment.
