• Two people in a van on I-10 near Shepherd were struck around 1am on Saturday by a hit and run driver in a Mustang who caused the van to flip several times. Both victims are in the hospital in stable condition.

• The UH Cougars beat Tulane on Saturday. The final score was 66-56. The Houston Rockets won their 6 straight game Saturday night with a win over the Atlanta Hawks, 108-89.
