These are some pretty gorgeous photographs and who'd believe they're all up for sale to benefit one of the coolest organizations in all Houston? Houstonist (a fan of photography, as you well know) was drooling over this one, and this one and this one too.

The photographs are on exhibition right now at the HCP galleries until Wednesday, February 13th, and the auction is this Friday the 15th at the Houston Junior League. There will be cocktails, entertainment, a silent auction, dinner and then a live auction, all for a mere $60. This is the best deal of the benefit season, for sure. And if you can't make it, you can still bid via absentee ballot (whew!).

What a terrific way to spend a Friday. Tickets are limited and going fast, so register now for yours.
