• A cold front that will be preceded by a storm system is expected to drop temperatures this afternoon. Don't forget your coats and umbrellas.
• Two suspected Conroe drug dealers were shot during a sting involving the Montgomery County sheriff's office. The sting occurred in a busy shopping center parking lot and an officer was nearly hit by the suspects vehicle.
• Police in the Rice Village area are on the lookout for a suspected thief who has robbed 8 people since the year began. Authorities have released a sketch of the sketchy criminal and are asking for your help.
• A 29 year old woman who dumped her newborn child in the trash at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital on Saturday has been charged with felony injury to a child. Her bond is set at $35,000.
• Houston's local NBC affiliate, KPRC, has done an investigative report on the length of yellow lights at red light camera and have made some interesting discoveries.
• An HISD school bus with 12 children that was on its way to Carnegie Vanguard High School was rear-ended this morning by an 18-wheel truck at South Loop 610 East and Highway 288. The bus in turn rear ended an SUV. No obvious injuries have been reported.
