Light Rail Pub Crawl Invitation

Greetings, Houstonians. We're psyched that so many of you are excited about the upcoming LRPC. We are, too. A few of you have asked if there's anything you can send out to your buddies to encourage them to show up. Well, axe and ye shall receive.

Use the email template below to spread the word. Copy, paste, adjust and send. Enjoy.

What up, Your_Friend’s_Name?

You got a plan for Happy Hour today? Let me know cuz this week has been hellish and I need to relax. I’m thinking ritas and a patio.

Don’t worry about next Friday’s plan. I’ve got it covered. Your_Other_Friend’s_Name, Yet_Another_Friend’s_Name and I are heading to the Flying Saucer at 5:30ish to meet up with the Houstonist for their second annual Light Rail Pub Crawl.

We’ll grab a beverage at LFS and then head out to visit four or five watering holes along the rail. Last year's Light Rail Pub Crawl was pretty crazy. Lone Star Saloon ran out of pitchers and High Life. Things ended up with bottomless White Russians at Warren's. Oh, don’t worry, we stopped for food along the way at Tacos a Go-Go.

If you show up early, Houstonist will front your METRORail pass. If not, it’s only a couple bucks to ride all night. We’ll cab it home.

Lates.

Pub crawl baby!! I sure hope that some of our 11 readers show up! Holler if you're in!

This is going to kick eleven kinds of ass. Be there, y'all!

I don't have that many friends. Is it okay if I invite some enemies?

You know what they say, Jim: Keep your friends close and your enemies drunk.

Grrrr, I'm going to be out of town! :( Try not to be jealous that I'll be in the fabulous town of Denton while you guys are living it up on the Light Rail.
