::Sandra Organ Dance Company Performs José Limón's There Is a Time ::

For the ten year anniversary of the Sandra Organ Dance Company, the group will be performing the outstanding choreographer José Limón's work, There Is a Time. Formerly a soloist at the Houston Ballet where she was the first African-American in the company, Organ founded her own company in 1998, focusing largely on black history themes.

Limón's work is some of the best modern dance Houstonist has seen. The movement is exciting in more ways than one: unique, passionate, vital and tantalizing. Whether you're new to dance or a longtime fan, this performance should be extraordinary.
