• More than $200,000 dollars was recently stolen from the Houston Police Federal Credit Union. Investigators are speculating an inside job as no forced entry was found into the building.
• A River Oaks woman was kidnapped from her neighborhood and forced into a car trunk. The woman escaped by using the interior safety release latch that is present in all late model cars.
• A man who was stabbed outside of a Conroe pub has died from his injuries. George Benjamin Macaluso II, 23, of Conroe, was fatally stabbed outside of Molly's Pub in the 900 block of North Loop 336 West.
• HPD has introduced 'stealth' cars into their arsenal of crime fighting goodies. These plain vehicles are used to snag unsuspecting unsafe drivers.
• The Houston Rockets continue on their winning ways, even without Yao Ming as they toppled the Grizzlies 116-95. Houston won every game in the month of February and are on a 14 game win streak.
