• A man in Brazoria County drove his vehicle into a group of people standing at the edge of driveway. One man was killed and the driver now faces homicide charges.
• A 17 year old boy bludgeoned a pregnant woman to death three weeks ago with a baseball bat after a minor fender bender in a local park has been captured and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
• The 15 story Emerald hi-rise condominiums have opened in Galveston after being delayed for months. The condos are located at 500 Seawall Blvd and incorporate a white and green color scheme.
• Reports of increased levels of Benzene in Houston's air is on the rise even after Mayor Bill White promised punitive measures to those companies that continue to pollute. No word on what companies are responsible and what, if any, fines will be levied.
• A woman who is suspected of racing her Honda in southwest Houston crashed her vehicle through a house in a residential neighborhood. The woman was arrested and charged with DUI.
