Houston's social changemakers, NetSquared are having their monthly meetup this Tuesday, the 18th at The Stag's Head Pub at 7pm. This month, their speaker is Matt Adams, co-founder and President of CathARTx. Netsquared is a group of social changemakers and technological forerunners that come together at events to mix, swap stories and ideas, build new relationships, and reinforce the online NetSquared community.

Forbes' Top 10 Up & Coming Tech Cities
Houston has made Forbes' list of Up And Coming Tech Cities. Found over at the Startup Houston website, the list shows Houston as number 4 among many other great cities.

Verizon Opens New Concept Stores In Houston
Verizon Wireless has opened two new concept stores in town focusing on individual customer service and hands on demonstrations. The two new stores are located in The Woodlands and in Pearland. Houstonist didn't think indvidual customer service was a new concept, but apparently it is to Verizon.
