This week, we get back to bungalows with this 1911 Westmoreland gem. The house reminds us of some of our favorites in Woodland Heights, but it has some unique features of its own that make it stand out — and a recent restoration means the interior is as nice as the exterior.
Inside, the house features a large living room with typical Craftsman wood beams and columns and a fireplace, a dining room with a fantastic bay window and dark wood wainscoting, and an updated kitchen with white cabinets, stone floors and (shockingly enough) granite countertops and stainless appliances. Upstairs is the loft-like master suite, which includes a large master bedroom/sitting area built under the slope of the roof, overlooking the front yard; lots (seriously, lots) of closets; and an enormous master bathroom with windows on three sides. The master bath has a soaking tub and shower that looks big enough to have dinner in — not that you'd want to, of course, but it's nice to know that the option would exist. There are also three other bedrooms, one of which could be used as a ground-floor office or library.
Outside, there's a pool and raised deck in the back; in the front, like you'd expect, there's a deep, wide front porch perfect for doing absolutely nothing. Bedrooms: three or four. Bathrooms: two. Square feet: 3,203. Price: $875,000.
