thriftster_graphic.jpgMonday: If you're in the operatic mood, tonight is the last night to check out A Wedding at Moores Opera House on the UH campus (4800 Calhoun). It's hilarious and cheeky and will only put you back $10 - great last second date night idea.

Tuesday: Booze it up for free at a Portuguese 'green wine' tasting at Paraiso Maravilla (5714 Fairdale) from 5-7pm. Still need more? Then head over to Stag's Head Pub (2128 Portsmouth) 7-9pm for the monthly NetSquared social technology meet up for free beer NPO meets geek conversation.

Wednesday: It's Wicked Wednesday at the Continental Club (3700 Main St.) from 8-11pm which means booze, music and burlesque dancing girls - as well as other tasty variety show surprises. Can we get a hells yeah for Hump Day? $5 gets you in, $1 gets you a frosty Lone Star.

Thursday: Take the edge off the end of your work week with $3 margaritas and free Flamenco dancing at Avant Garden (411 Westheimer). When the Flamenco fringe starts getting extra blurry, that's when you know the happy hour specials are kicking in.
