Cuervo, thanks for the info.  The tree really looks out of place in the water (another reason I like it) and that may explain why.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;Is everyone aware that before the ground sank  most of the land around San Jacinto Monument area was ABOVE water? That tree in the photo most likely started out on dry land.
 I remember in the late 70&apos;s walking on an asphalt road  near the Monument that was 3-4 feet underwater. The crabbing was great,though!&lt;/p&gt;</description>
