Inprint Summer Writing Workshops

120508_type.jpgPlanning to stay in Houston for the summer, and looking for something to do? Inprint, an organization recognized nationally for its community literary programs, is registering for its 2008 summer writing workshops, which begin the first week of June. The classes range from fiction to poetry to essay, and are taught one day a week for eight weeks. You'll be in more than capable hands: The teachers, who include two UH Creative Writing graduates, are all accomplished writers with a ridiculous amount of awards and publications under their belts. One class is already filled, so if you're interested or know someone who is, you'll need to move on these fast.

Additionally, there's special incentive for Houston area K-12 teachers: Tuition is free! So whether you simply want to try your hand at writing or are already on your way to becoming the next Raymond Carver, it's worth your time to check these workshops out.

To read about the classes and teachers in detail, visit the Inprint website or call them at 713.521.2026.
