This shot of downtown was taken from Sam Houston Park which is also home of The Heritage Society. The Heritage Society is the city's only outdoor, interactive historic museum and park. It engulfs 19 acres of green space and has eight historic structures dating from 1823 to 1905. They also have an interesting walking tour that you can take by dialing a number on your cell phone!
