Nine Inch Nails Lights in the Sky summer tour rolls into the Toyota Center this Saturday featuring the genius of Trent Reznor.
Reznor's been at the forefront of the industrial music scene since we wore out our tape deck on 1988's Pretty Hate Machine. NIN's music has steadily evolved over the years and chronicled the artist's life. Fragile was a depiction of the same in the artist.
The same can be said for Ghosts I-IV and The Slip. The former is heavily instrumental that may hint at a new found calm for Reznor stemming from his status as a free-agent in the music industry. And, if Ghosts hints, then The Slip is a strobe-like symbol to NIN's independence having been released and distributed for free via NIN.com.
The show will feature material from both of the latest releases accompanied by a stellar light and effects show in keeping with the tour name - Lights in the Sky.
