Majority: The age of majority is the threshold of adulthood as it is conceptualized (and recognized or declared) in law. It is the chronological moment when children legally cease to be minors and assume control over their persons, actions and decisions, thereby terminating the legal control and legal responsibilities of their parents over and for them. The word majority here refers to having greater years and being of full age; it is opposed to minority, the state of being a minor. The law in a given jurisdiction may never actually use the term "age of majority" and the term thereby refers to a collection of laws bestowing the status of adulthood. The term age of majority thus may either be a concept or a statutory principle depending on the jurisdiction.

ps...it's the age of 'maturity' not 'majority'. Also, responsibility is not one sided. Lenders also have a responsibility - to tell the truth.

Are you suggesting that lying is ok? No wait - I know - evading the truth is ok. So, if you go into the grocery store to buy a tube of what you think is toothpaste and you get home to find out you've been sold a tube of axle grease (cuz it says so in the fine print) is that your fault? Of course it is! You sucker!!!!!!!!
