Free B L A C K I E Set at Rice

In our little corner of the music world here at H-Town Rock, we always make quality time for free music, especially when it's coming from someone as dynamite as B L A C K I E. Tomorrow night (Tuesday, September 9th for those of you who are calendar-impaired), Ian Wells (of KTRU's Revelry Report) will be hosting this hip-hop dervish on his Local Show and has decided to go live with the entire event. What was to be an in-studio appearance has been converted into a free concert to be held over at the Ray Courtyard on the Rice campus from 8pm to 10pm.

Yes, it might be a bit of short notice, but what else do you have going on Tuesday night? And sure, you might have some TPS reports to file, market research to do, an English term paper to complete, and/or some calculus homework to take care of, but can't you finish that after the show?
