KUHF Silent Film Concert Series

This Friday night, head over to the hill at Discovery Green to catch the start of the KUHF Silent Film Concert Series sponsored by Houston Public Radio.

Three silent films from the 1920's will encompass this free series and the films will be accompanied by live, original music.

The series kicks off at 7:30pm on Friday September 12th (weather permitting) with the 1927 classic, Metropolis. Music for the film will be performed by Golden Hornet Project of Austin, TX.

It'd be really cool to check this event out and the New World symphony this weekend at Jones Hall, but stupid Ike is making things difficult on everybody.
