Rockets Holding Blood Drive Today

The Houston Rockets and Memorial Hermann will be holding a "Give Red, Get Red" blood drive today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Toyota Center (1510 Polk St.). The first 300 blood donors will receive a "Give Red, Get Red" t-shirt and an opportunity to purchase tickets to a Rockets pre-season game for only $2. Limit two. Also, a raffle will be held and each donor will have a chance to win pre-season tickets.

Along with the Rockets staff, players will also be making appearances throughout the day. Free parking is available at the Toyota Center parking garage.

The blood drive will benefit the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center.
