• A female UH student escaped her attacker outside of Moody Towers near the UH Hilton Hotel around 6:30am this morning. The attacker is still at large.

• A passenger on a motorcycle involved in a police chase died after hitting a patrol car and being launched off the bike.

• A homeowner killed a thief after a home invasion occurred around 1:30am Saturday morning in Northwest Houston. The home invasion occurred on Wycliff near Shadow Wood.

• The Astros have been eliminated from the playoffs after their win over the Atlanta Braves. The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Chicago Cubs dashing Houston's hopes for a wild card spot.

• The Houston Texans take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in Jacksonville at noon.
