Stimulate Your Appetite (and the Economy!)

nighttime in a foggy city

Starting next week, OpenTable.com (a website that allows you to make restaurant reservations online) will be holding their yearly Appetite Stimulus Plan, in which Houston-area restaurants will be offering special three-course menus at a greatly reduced price. From November 17th through the 21st, the restaurants will be offering either lunch or dinner menus or -- in some cases -- both. The price for the lunch menus is $24, while the dinner menus are an equally reasonable $35 (excluding tax and gratuity).

A full list of restaurants and their menus can be found at OpenTable.com. Some of Houstonist's favorite local restaurants -- and some of yours, too! -- will be participating, including Catalan Food & Wine, t'afia, and The Oceanaire. All of the participating restaurants would normally be twice or three times more expensive outside of the Appetite Stimulus Plan week. And even better than that? You get 200 Dining Table Reward Points for each reservation you book and honor during the week. Reward Points can be redeemed for "cheques" that are honored as cash at all OpenTable.com restaurants nationwide (not just the ones participating in the Appetite Stimulus Week).

To make your reservations at any of the participating restaurants, simply book through OpenTable.com, then show up and enjoy a delicious meal while you stimulate your appetite and our economy.
