Houstonist's music tastes are refined - Duran Duran, Wham!, You(genious) and, most definitely yes, every single note from A Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack.
Which is why this ticket giveaway is cool - accomplished jazz pianist Cyrus Chestnut will be playing not only a killer Christmas arrangement, but will also be featuring songs from his first jazz influence Vince Guaraldi (the Charlie Brown music dude).
What: Cyrus Chestnut Christmas jazz concert

In Cyrus' album A Charlie Brown Christmas, he writes, “Thinking about it now, I believe my first exposure to jazz came from hearing the music behind the Charlie Brown Christmas specials. Every time my parents told me that any one of the “Peanuts” specials was airing, I immediately stopped whatever I was doing and ran to the television set, hoping not to miss a minute of the saga…”
