Grown-UP Storytime XII with BooTown

121608_bootown.jpgBooTown, a collaborative theater group, will present The Greatest Stories Ever Told, a look back at a year of outsider sketch theater featuring BooTown's favorites.

Many of BooTown's best stories are submitted by strangers the BooPeeps have met in bars, then reenacted on stage by the troupe. The monthly show usually revolves around a theme.

Some of the performances will be live — The Legend of Applejack, a story about a horse written by an elementary school student; Belly Itcher, about a guy who gives poison ivy to a stripper; and DIY Badassness, step-by-step instructions on how to relocate your shoulder. Other stories will be relived via video, including clips from the previous 11 Grown-UP Storytimes.
