Houstonist Was There: Houston v. Air Force (Armed Forces Bowl)

It's been a long drought since UH's last bowl win; 28 years to be exact but now the Houston team can get that monkey off their back as they enjoyed a 34-28 win over Air Force Wednesday afternoon at the Armed Forces Bowl in Ft. Worth, TX.

Freshman running back Bryce Beall had 227 total yards and a touchdown to capture the MVP award and sophomore quarterback Case Keenum threw for 252 yards to go along with three touchdowns (1 pass, 2 rush). Keenum finishes the season as the nation's second leading passer with 5,020 yards and his 403.2 yards per game is tops in the nation.
