Daily-ist Friday: The Puppet Show

011609_puppet.jpg If the first thing you think of when you hear the word "puppets" are the creations of Jim Henson, then get yourself over to the Contemporary Arts Museum this evening for the opening of their newest exhibition, The Puppet Show, which runs through April 12. The exhibit will feature a variety of media exploring the themes of puppetry, as well as some actual puppets and puppet shows.

Puppetry is one of the oldest forms of theater. Did you know Houston has it's own puppet theater troupe, Bobbindoctrin?

Tonight's opening, like all exhibits at the CAMH, is free. There will be adult beverages and free food as well.
