Dailyist is a bit late today, but it's been a busy morning so we hope you don't mind, especially since Houstonist again has two awesome events for your enjoyment this evening.
::Here's to Working Women::
CinemaBomar, a Houston group that screens 16 mm educational and industrial films, will celebrate the modern working woman with a screening of five short films from 1949 to the early 1980s at Domy. Indulge your secretarial fantasies in the down-season of Mad Men with films whose topics include post-WWII career choices for women, the advent of word processing, and women in space. The event is free and the films should be good for some post-ironic laughs.
