Weekendist Jan. 30 - Feb. 1: Bowling and Bowl-ing

All Weekend
The Princess Bride as the River Oaks Midnight Movie. Tickets are $9.50. It starts at 11:55 tonight and Saturday night.
• Iranian Film Festival at the MFAH and Rice Cinema. Runs through next weekend. Tickets and show-times vary.

Friday
• 7 p.m. — Bowling at Delmar Lanes, 3020 Mangum Rd, 77092
• 8 p.m. — Andrew Karnavas of Runaway Sun and Clory Martin (a former Rice soccer
player) play an acousitc show at Brasil, 2604 Dunlavy St., 77006

Saturday
• 10:30 a.m. — Lunar New Year Celebration at the Chinese Community Center of Houston, 9800 Town Park, 77036. Will include traditional drummers, acrobats, cultural traditions and delicious traditional food.
• 7 p.m. — Tiara Happy Hour at Sauté, 2303 Richmond. The point is just to wear a tiara (real or fake, men and women) and hang out. There is no point. Except Sauté is offering drink specials to anyone wearing a tiara.
• 7:30 p.m. — House of Mind by choreographer Pat Graney, at Diverseworks. This performance is the largest ever for Diverseworks, now in it's 25th year. Graney has taken over their entire building.

Sunday
• Oh right. The Super Bowl. We'll be watching it at McElroy's while also checking in with The Puppy Bowl on Twitter.
