Busted Water Main at Kirby and West Alabama, 12:30 PM Jan. 31

013109_water.jpg At about 12:30 PM this afternoon Houstonist was sitting in traffic at Kirby and West Alabama. Must be that blasted construction, you say? Absolutely. But the icing on the cake was a busted water main shooting a fountain about 6 feet up and flooding the intersection. We were able to capture it on our trusty camera phone. Avoid it if you can.
