Five religious scholars will attempt to discuss the nature of God at a panel this evening at the Rothko Chapel.
"Are Our Gods the Same God?" will feature panalists from Rice University: Elias Bongmba, scholar of African religions; Gregory Kaplan, Judaism; Anne Carolyn Klein, Buddhism; and Elora Shehabuddin, scholar of Islam. The panel will also feature Lynn Mitchell, director of religious studies at the University of Houston.
The discussion is free and open to the public.
