Weekendist February 6-8: Happy, Geeky, Sketchy

Got a hole in your pocket? Houstonist has some weekend plans for you that won't break the bank.

Friday
• 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. — Houstonist Happy Hour at West Alabama Ice House. That is no typo — your first drink is on us.
• 7:30 p.m. — Geek Gathering at The Coffee Groundz. It's an all-ages event hosted by Technology Bytes, so be there *and* be square.

Saturday
• 8 a.m. to noon — Bayou City Farmer's Market for dinner supplies.
• 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. — The Urban Market Houston, an occasional high-end outdoor market in the Bayou City. But hey, there will be food vendors, and it's free to browse.
• Noon — Houston Chowhounds Taco Truck Crawl. Pay as you go, but you must RSVP.

Sunday
• 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. — Dr. Sketchy Life Drawing Valentine's Day Party, upstairs at Avant Garden (411 Westheimer). Cost is $10 plus tips for the models.
