H-Town Rock

For the Week of March 2nd - 4th, 2009

Good afternoon Houston. It seems that the early part of this week is to be dominated by traveling troubadours visiting our fair city in hopes of winning us over with their charming folk melodies. Both William Elliot Whitmore and Ben Sollee come highly recommended and will be performing at Cactus Music before their respective nighttime sets. This way, people will have a chance to hear a bit of music for free, in hopes that listeners might be compelled to pay a bit of money later in the evening for a full show. However, our money is on the Wednesday night show over at The Mink, mostly because we're big fans of the dense, mathy, experimental rock of Tambersauro. And, as usual, if we've missed anything, let us (and the other ten readers) know!
