Daily-ist Thursday: Paranormal Night at Murder By the Book

030509_paranormal.jpg Murder by the Book is a frequent host of interesting authors, but it's not every night they welcome a triple-threat gathering of Texas-based genre authors.

Tonight, however, strange things are afoot. Three authors of paranormal literature will be signing their books at the store. Austin-based paranormal mystery writer Victoria Laurie will sign and discuss her new "Ghouls Just Haunt to Have Fun." Dallas paranormal writer Dakota Cassidy will present her new novel, "The Accidental Human," and paranormal writer Michele Bardsley, also from Dallas, will sign and discuss her new novel, "Over My Dead Body."

Seems there is no shortage of puns in the paranormal novel industry.

Murder By The Book is often packed inside, so Houstonist recommends getting there early. The readings begin at 6:30 p.m.
