Last Friday night's 3rd Annual Light Rail Pub Crawl was our most successful one yet. Over 60 folks gathered at The Flying Saucer to kick-off things at 5:30. Next, we headed to the reborn Leon's Lounge in Midtown - arriving and departing before the Vinyl Ranch crowd rocked the house with their country vibe. By the time we arrived at Tacos a Go-Go for belly filling, our crawl had grown to include upwards of 85 folks that packed both Tacos and Big Top Lounge.
Thanks to Anne at the Saucer for remaining calm in the face of the horde packed into the small area upstairs. Josh, thanks for icing down extra Lone Star for our jaunt to Leon's. Thanks to Sharon Haynes and her crew at TAGG for keeping the groceries moving quickly. Thanks to the ladies at Big Top for serving up the free suds. Thanks for the new deck at Lone Star Saloon; it helped us get over our drunken agoraphobia. State Bar, way to accommodate the 50+ folks who finished the crawl and received their shirt. Thanks to Tanya, the crawler who managed the t-shirt distribution so that we could party it up until the bitter end.
And thanks to whomever bought us the Jaeger. Unfortunately, that stuff is our kryptonite. It made the wheels fall off the bus. FYI: we had to scale an eight foot security wall to get to our cab after the after-party.
Finally, a huge thanks to all of you who made it out on Friday night. We had a blast roaming the city with you and are looking forward to seeing you at our 2nd Annual Crawfish Boil at Coffee Groundz.
Drop us a line in the comments if you've got a story you'd like to share. We need someone to help us fill-in blanks on a few things.
