Oswalt, Dunn Lead USA Past Netherlands

royroy.jpg Astros ace Roy Oswalt and Houstonian Adam Dunn helped lead Team USA 9-3 in an elimination game Sunday night at Dolphins Stadium in Miami, Florida.

Oswalt said he wasn't too pleased with his performance, but he kept the Netherlands in check by pitching four scoreless innings with five strikeouts while not allowing a walk.

This was Oswalt's second win for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic.

Dunn, who continues to dominate international pitching (.571 AVG), was 2-for-4 Sunday night with a sixth-inning home run.

Astros pitcher LaTroy Hawkins relieved Oswalt to pitch a perfect fifth-inning.

Team USA will now face the loser of Monday night's Puerto Rico, Venezuela game on Tuesday in an another elimination game.
