Houstonist showed up to the Lee and Joe Jamail Skatepark on Saturday morning for their Babes On Boards event. The park was filled with girls eager to learn to skate. There were intermediate level skaters as well as pro skaters shredding the street course and skating the large bowls.
Skaters from all over, including Arizona and Hawaii, came out to support the event.
The turnout was so good that Babes On Boards will now become an annual clinic and contest.
