Daily-ist: Wednesday

::Jak se máš::

Czech it out! Oh, that was waaaay to easy.

The Harris County Chapter of the Czech Heritage Society of Texas (oh yeah, we have one!) presents monthly Czech Cultural films throughout the 2009 year.

Films are shown at the CHS library at 4117 Willowbend on the fourth Wednesday of the month, and the curtain goes up at 7:00 pm. There is no admission charge for the film or for the popcorn. The films are in the Czech language but are subtitled in English unless otherwise specified.

March 25: Vrchní Prchni - This is a comedy about a man who pretends to be a waiter and thereby steal money so he can afford to support all his ex-wives and children. (Um, sounds like a real knee slapper. And, economically appropriate.) The film is in Czech with English subtitles.

Other film dates include: April 22, May 27, August 26, September 23 and October 28

Czech out their ultra high-tech website for more info.
